Andrea Valese

Andrea Valese is a PhD candidate at Politecnico di Milano in the STEP-Change program. His work focuses on exploring technologies and designing sustainable strategies to advance the green transition of the maritime sector, with a particular emphasis on short-range waterborne transport. His research leverages energy modeling to analyze and design effective transition pathways, ensuring a balance between environmental goals and economic feasibility.

An SPE member since 2025, he is the current president of the SPE Politecnico di Milano Student Chapter.
