Energy Regulator Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory CommissionHajara Abdulfatah is a seasoned petroleum and gas engineer with over 5+ years of experience, and a specialty in energy economics and policy. She currently works as an energy regulator at the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), promoting sustainable energy policy solutions.
She has been a dedicated member of SPE since 2014 and is a Global STEM Ambassador and founder of the Girl in STEM Initiative, empowering young girls in Northern Nigeria. She is recognized for her leadership and dedication to a sustainable and inclusive future for Girls in STEM.
Abdulfatah further honed her expertise in Economics and Policy of Energy and the Environment at University College London (UCL) through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship.
