Kayode Joshua Sanni

Data Scientist and Petroleum Engineer

Kayode Joshua Sanni is a data scientist and petroleum engineer whose work focuses on applying machine learning and advanced analytics to optimize upstream operations, enhance reservoir performance, and improve well integrity. He holds a dual master’s degree in petroleum engineering and data science from the University of Oklahoma, and a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering from the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Nigeria. His research and industry contributions span cementing, geothermal systems, drilling optimization, and AI applications in subsurface engineering. A recipient of the SPE Imomoh Scholarship and the NNPC/TOTAL National Merit Award, he is passionate about advancing data-driven innovation in oil and gas. In his free time, he enjoys pickleball, traveling, and reading.
