Maryse Jackman holds a BSc in geology from the University of the West Indies and an MBA in with specialization in oil and gas management from the University of Bedfordshire. She is employed in the Resource Management Division at the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries. Her work functions include geological evaluations of open/idle blocks for the purpose of competitive bid rounds. She has been volunteering with SPE since 2017 and has held various positions in the SPE Trinidad and Tobago Section such as Director of Publicity, editor of SPETT’s newsletter, Top Drive. She is currently the Section’s past Chairperson. In her spare time, she enjoys reading inspirational books, playing the violin, dancing, and hiking.
