Patricia E. Carreras

Patricia E. Carreras is a reservoir engineering consultant. She has interests in reservoir engineering, field development planning, reservoir simulation, public speaking, mentoring, and coaching. She has over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and serves SPE on the Business Management and Leadership Committee (BMLC), the Diversity and Inclusion Committee, and the SPE Gulf Coast Section Continuing Education Committee, and as a mentor for the eMentoring program. She is one of the authors of the first-ever D&I survey by the SPE BMLC and received the 2020–2021 SPE Gulf Coast Section Exemplary award. Carreras holds a BS degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and an MS degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University.
