Zainab Iyiola
Graduate Student University of OklahomaZainab Iyiola is a petroleum engineer, data scientist, and researcher pursuing a PhD in petroleum engineering at the University of Oklahoma. She holds dual master’s degrees in petroleum engineering and data science and analytics, with research interests spanning reservoir engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and subsurface energy applications. She is an active member of SPE, serving on The Way Ahead Editorial Board and the SPE Student Development Committee. She has authored several technical publications and received multiple academic and professional honors, including the 2026 University of Oklahoma Outstanding Master’s Student Award and the 2025 SPE Mr. Emeka C. Ene New Energy, Carbon Capture & Sequestration Award.
