Matt Balhoff is an associate professor at University of Texas Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering Department. He joined the university over a decade ago after graduating with a doctoral degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University. His research work focuses on enhanced oil recovery—the discipline for improving oil and gas recovery rates, making the process more efficient.
