Mubarak Olasunkanmi

Mubarak Olasunkanmi, SPE, is a first class petroleum engineering graduate from the University of Ibadan and one of the top graduating students in the faculty of technology. His interests lie at the intersection of energy and emerging technologies, particularly the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence to drilling and reservoir engineering problems. As a student, he captained the University of Ibadan (UI) PetroBowl team, leading them to national success and the regional stage, where the team emerged African champions at the 2024 SPE PetroBowl competition. He also served in leadership roles including director of programs at the Energy Club and SPEUI E&P Team Lead.
