Pushpesh Sharma

Pushpesh Sharma, PhD, is chair of the SPE Data Science & Engineering Analytics Technical Section and director of product management at AspenTech (Emerson), leading the HYSYS product line. He has 21+ publications in EOR, geothermal, data analytics, and production and is a recipient of the 2025 SPE International Data Science and Engineering Analytics Award. His career spans refinery operations at BPCL, petroleum engineering research at the University of Houston, energy data science at Inveniam, and enterprise product strategy at AspenTech.
