Vu Nguyen
Doctoral Candidate University of Louisiana at LafayetteVu Nguyen is a doctoral candidate in the petroleum engineering department at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His research focuses on cement and zonal isolation, reservoir simulation, enhanced oil recovery, corrosion in the oil and gas industry, carbon capture storage, machine learning, and computational fluid dynamics. He has published several papers in the Journal of the American Chemistry Society, Sustainability, Journal of Petroleum Science and Engineering, and Journal of Petroleum Exploration and Production Technology. Besides research, he likes teach students. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and a master’s degree in chemical engineering at the University of Florida.
