Yury Rykov

Yury Rykov is an InTouch engineer in SLB’s Technology Center, based in Houston, Texas, where he provides expert technical support to manufacturing and field engineers on projects worldwide for the company’s most advanced formation pressure while drilling and sampling tools, and applies his significant oil and gas industry experience to new product development for downhole tools that provide exceptional performance and reliability. Rykov began his career with SLB in 2010 as a telemetry and logging (MLWD) engineer. After rising to senior MLWD engineer in 2016, he rapidly achieved positions of greater responsibilities as operations support engineer, mission control center engineer, and InTouch engineer for the resistivity and nuclear helpdesk, before assuming his current role. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in technical physics from Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Moscow, Russia.
