Zuhair AlYousef
AlYousef has worked with Saudi Aramco as a petroleum engineer since 2008. The emphasis of his work has been on enhancing oil recovery (EOR) and carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS). He is currently leading the gravity override mitigation, the gas mobility control and CO2 sequestration research, and contributing to high impact projects within the area of CO2-EOR and sequestration. He has authored and coauthored numerous technical papers and received 17 granted patents. He has been appointed to serve as an associate editor in the editorial board of the Journal of Geoenergy Science and Engineering and the Journal of Petroleum Exploration and Production Technology. He received his BS degree in 2008 from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals; his MS degree in 2012 and PhD degree in 2017 from Texas A&M University, all in petroleum engineering.
