EZOps, a division of Detechtion Technologies, has partnered with Midland College (Texas) to integrate its EZOps Mobile Oilfield Management platform into the college’s energy technology program, giving students hands-on experience with digital tools used in modern oilfield operations.

“We are excited to join forces with Midland College and invest in our future oilfield workforce by better equipping students with technology used to manage the oil field,” said Tracy Gray, strategic business director and executive sponsor of the EZOps Customer Advisory Board. “They will get to experience the digital side of oilfield management through the EZOps platform prior to heading to work in the patch.”

The platform streamlines tasks such as HSE, maintenance, inspections, inventory, and reporting through a single offline-capable interface that connects directly to back-office systems.

“By integrating EZOps into Midland College’s curriculum, students will gain practical skills in digital oilfield management, positioning them to meet the industry’s growing demand for tech-savvy oilfield professionals,” said Erick Gutierrez, professor and chair of energy and technical programs at Midland College.
