The SPE Gulf Coast Section will host the 17th semiannual Energy Professionals Hiring Event on 7 May during the Offshore Technology Conference. Employers and job seekers are invited to attend the event which provides a platform for connecting experienced upstream and energy professionals with companies seeking qualified talent.

Registration for job seekers will open in April.
Job seeker qualifications include:
- Be an active member of either SPE or any professional collaborative organization. Provide proof of active membership.
- Possess a university degree equivalent to a 4-year bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied sciences or a 4-year degree in a field other than science or engineering and technical experience working in the energy sector and projects.
- Or possess a 2-year science or engineering degree and technical experience working in the energy sector and projects.
