SPE Lagos Section will host the inaugural Lagos Energy Week 2025, 19–21 February, in Victoria Island, Lagos, and will explore Nigeria's energy landscape, uncover opportunities, and address challenges, with a focus on sustainability and empowering future leaders.
Its theme “Nigeria’s Energy Evolution: Empowering the Present, Securing the Future” will host several panel sessions and events including:
- Deepwater growth panel session: A deep dive into strategies for scaling Nigeria’s oil production by 1 million B/D by Q4 2025, with insights from key industry leaders.
- ‘How I Built This’ roundtable: Entrepreneurs and former SPE leaders share insights and lessons from their journeys in building impactful companies.
- Young professionals’ (YPs) symposium: A platform for YPs to discuss career growth, industry trends, and connect through networking opportunities.
- Lagos Energy Career Fair: A leading platform for students and YPs to connect with industry recruiters, mentors, and leaders from across the energy sector.
- Women in Energy fireside chat: Esteemed women in the energy sector will share personal journeys, strategies for breaking barriers, and ways to foster inclusivity.
- Third annual golf tournament: An engaging sporting event bringing energy professionals together to support a meaningful cause while fostering community spirit.
