To celebrate 10 years, the SPE UFAL (Federal University of Alagoas) Student Chapter held a special event that brought together current members, former members, professors and the academic community.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the mini-course taught by Mateus Ferreira, a former member of SPE UFAL, who shared experiences acquired throughout his career and presented updated technical content, reinforcing the importance of continuity between generations of students. The activity provided participants with a unique opportunity for learning and inspiration, connecting past and present around the mission of spreading knowledge

The event also featured tributes to the former presidents of the chapter and to the counselors who, over the years, played a key role in the consolidation of SPE UFAL. The honors underscored the legacy of leadership and dedication of these members, recognizing the positive impact of their contributions in building a solid and respected chapter.

To close the program in a dynamic and interactive way, the unprecedented Battle of the Reservoir was launched, an academic competition that challenged students to apply petroleum engineering concepts in practical situations. The initiative promoted participant integration, stimulated teamwork, and encouraged critical thinking, reaffirming the chapter's commitment to technical training of excellence combined with creativity and innovation.
