  • Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) SPE Fest 2017 is the university’s third International Oil and Gas Technical Festival under the maxim of “Irradiating Brilliance” and will be held 3–5 November. It is planned to be a platform for the coming generation of petroleum engineers to explore new horizons in the fields of oil and gas.

  • SPE members from the SPE student chapter at Maharashtra Institute of Technology in Pune, India, recently hosted three Energy4me workshops in local schools. Their presentations benefitted 450 high school students from the region, and helped them learn more about the career options available in the oil and gas industry.
  • The 2016 edition of the SPE student members quiz competition, PetroBowl, will be held at the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition in Dubai on 26 September.
