Tune into the upcoming webinar “Pioneering Pressure Geothermal: Renewable Energy Storage and Next-Generation Geothermal” on Monday, 9 June, from 10:00–11:30 a.m. CT, to explore how oil and gas technologies are being repurposed for geothermal and renewable energy applications.

The session will delve into the use of human-made, underground, sealed reservoirs for energy storage—particularly subsurface pumped hydro—which enables intermittent sources like wind and solar to deliver consistent baseload power. These technologies also lay the foundation for advancing hot dry rock geothermal systems for power generation and direct-use applications.

The event will be moderated by Gabrijel Grubac, an expert in completion project design and analysis. The featured speaker, Mike Eros—chief geoscientist at Sage Geosystems and former ExxonMobil geoscientist—brings more than 18 years of experience in subsurface interpretation and technical leadership.

Recordings and attendance certificates will be available within 1 business day post-event.
