Michael Cronin is the Editor-in-Chief of TWA. He works as a reservoir engineer in the Upstream Research Company at ExxonMobil. He holds a PhD in energy and mineral engineering (petroleum & natural gas engineering option) from Pennsylvania State University, a master’s degree in geological sciences from the University of Texas at Austin, and dual bachelor’s degrees in petroleum & natural gas engineering and geosciences (with honors) from Pennsylvania State University, where he received the 2011 Eric A. Walker Award. Cronin is a member of SPE since 2009 and recipient of the 2019 Cedric K. Ferguson Medal and the 2021 SPE Regional Young Professional Member Outstanding Service Award.
