SPE relaunched the former Women in Energy Standing Committee as the renewed Diversity and Inclusion Standing Committee.

The oilfield chemistry certification program is developed to help students bridge the gap between the knowledge gained at university and in-house industry experience.

A new SPE student chapter was born at the International University of Technology Twintech (IUTT) in Sana’a, the capital of Yemen, on 15 October. This is the first student chapter in the city and the second in the country.

Gender diversity and inclusion in the oil and gas industry has been widely promoted in the last decade to advance women in leadership roles. Following this, the SPE Java Section launched an initiative to encourage and empower women in the industry.

The collaborative series between TWA and SPE Student Chapters, “TWA Student Chapter Spotlight,” aims to feature award-winning SPE student chapters from around the world.
