Aker BP and Archer have agreed on a 15-month extension to an existing platform drilling and maintenance services contract for the Valhall and Ula platforms in the Norwegian North Sea. Effective 1 October, the extension will push the contract through the end of 2020.
“Our dedicated operations, maintenance, and engineering teams have supported the Ula field since 1986 and the Valhall field since 2001,” said Eirik Windegaard, Archer country manager for platform drilling in Norway. “We look forward to continuing our working relationship with Aker BP.”
