Ali Moshiri will retire from his position of president at Chevron Africa and Latin America Exploration and Production (E&P) Company effective 1 January 2017. Moshiri has held various leadership roles at Chevron over the course of his 38-year career, including manager of petroleum and facilities engineering, general manager of strategic planning and assets evaluation for Chevron Overseas Petroleum, general manager and advisor to the vice chairman of the board of Chevron Corporation E&P, and managing director of Chevron Latin America E&P Company. He joined Chevron in 1978 as a reservoir engineer.
Moshiri holds a bachelor's and a master's degree in petroleum engineering from Tulsa University.
