Pierre-Emmanuel d'Huart

Pierre Emmanuel d’Huart, SPE Europe Regional Director, is head of offshore technological development at Saipem. With over a decade of experience in various offshore projects across Europe, Egypt, Nigeria, Brazil, and the Middle East, his contributions have had a significant impact on the industry.

He led a team to build the heaviest and deepest pipeline ever and contributed to establishing the world’s first subsea drone operation in Norway. Additionally, he was a visiting lecturer at IFP School for 3 years, where he shared his knowledge and experience with students. He now directs the development of Saipem’s offshore and subsea technology solutions, driven by his passion for learning and industry collaboration.

Beyond his work, he is a proud father of two. He has served the wider community as a reserve navy officer for the French Navy.

He holds an MSc in civil engineering from ESTP in Paris and an MSc in petroleum engineering from IFP School.
