Pushpesh Sharma

Pushpesh Sharma, SPE, is director of product management at Emerson Electric (AspenTech), where he leads the Aspen HYSYS product line. He holds a PhD degree in chemical engineering from the University of Houston and a bachelor of technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University). Sharma has more than 21 publications. He is the chair of the SPE Data Science and Engineering Analytics Technical Section, which earned the Presidential Award for Outstanding Technical Section in 2023 and 2025. Sharma earned the SPE Data Science and Engineering Analytics Award in 2025. His career spans refinery operations, reservoir, production, geothermal energy, data science, and AI product leadership.
