Scott Sanderson

Scott Sanderson is director for corporate and strategic business development at AWS Energy & Utilities, where he leads corporate and strategic business development activities for energy companies worldwide with a specific focus on driving business value via cloud and related technologies. He has been an energy professional for over 35 years, starting as a certified senior reactor operator in nuclear energy before moving into upstream and downstream oil and gas. Sanderson was a partner at Deloitte Consulting, where he initiated the oil and gas consulting practice, and was an independent upstream operator, managing six different onshore and marine properties. He also spent 5 years as an energy merger and acquisition investment banker. Sanderson holds a bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering and an MBA degree from Northwestern University.
