Syed Hasan

Syed Hasan, SPE, has more than 25 years of global experience and has worked for IOCs including BP and Shell in both onshore and North Sea offshore environments and later in North American unconventional resources while working with IHS in Canada.

He currently works with the reserves divisions of NOCs in the Middle East and with Saudi Aramco as a subject-matter expert in the reserves division.

Hasan has been involved with the SPE Oil and Gas Reserves Committee (OGRC) since 2021, recently leading OGRC’s Reserves Education Subcommittee.

He holds an MS degree in petroleum engineering.
