Allseas Group has been awarded a gas export pipeline contract for the Barossa project offshore the Northern Territory, Australia, another major deal as the project reaches its expected sanction early next year. Allseas’ contract covers the engineering, procurement, construction, and installation of the 260-km gas export pipeline.
Operated by ConocoPhillips, Barossa is currently in the front-end engineering design phase. In addition to the gas export pipeline, it will include an FPSO and a subsea production system. The pipeline will tie to the Barossa gas field.
