Belgacem Chariag, chief global operations officer of Baker Hughes, a GE company, has resigned and will reportedly be replaced by Uwem Ukpong, the company's chief global operations and integration officer. Chariag agreed to resign on 2 January but will remain with BHGE until the end of January. Ukpong previously was a GE Oil & Gas executive and has run the company's Oil & Gas Surface business unit.
