Suncor appointed Dennis Houston to its board of directors. He is the former executive vice president for ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Company, a position he held from 1999 to 2010. He previously served as vice president, Exxon Supply & Transportation, managing the company’s supply business as well as its international marine transportation operations. He also has international experience in a previous role as chairman and managing director and marketing director for Esso Singapore.He currently serves as a director for GasLog and Argus Media. Houston also serves on the Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation Board, is Honorary Counsul to the Texas Region for the Principality of Liechtenstein and a board member for the American Bureau of Shipping Group of Companies. He holds a bachelor’s degree of science in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois.
