Elisabeth Proust will retire as managing director of Total E&P UK after 38 years with the company. She had served in her current position since November 2015. Prior to that, she worked as managing director for Nigeria operations at Total. She began her career as a junior drilling supervisor at Elf Aquitaine (now Total) in 1980. She worked with the company’s development engineering and project management specialists, which ultimately led to her becoming the first female vice president of development engineering for Total. She also held senior leadership positions in Indonesia and the UK.
