DORIS Engineering and Hyundai Heavy Industries have received front end engineering design contracts for the Shwe Phase 3 gas field development offshore Myanmar. Shwe is an integrated development over multiple gas condensate fields within Blocks A-1 and A-3 in the Bay of Bengal. It consists of three major field areas: the central Shwe field, the northern Shwe Phyu field, and the southern Mya field.
Phase 3 will involve the provision of LP compression to support ongoing production from the existing fields. The new LP compression platform will be bridge-connected to the existing drilling, production, and accommodation platform.
