Liam Mallon

Liam Mallon has been elected president of ExxonMobil Development Company. Mallon, who currently serves as the company's executive vice president, joined Mobil in 1990 and held a variety of progressively senior positions before becoming operations manager in Nigeria in 1998. He served in the same capcity in Australia from 2000 to 2003, after which he became planning manager for ExxonMobil Production Company. In 2004, Mallon was appointed president ExxonMobil Canada, and in 2006 he was appointed director and chairman of ExxonMobil subsidiaries in Malaysia. He became vice president of engineering for ExxonMobil Production in 2009 and vice president for Africa in 2012. He took over his current position in 2014.

Mallon holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Trinity College and a master's degree in petroleum engineering from Heriot Watt University.
