Marcelo Alves was appointed president of Rotating Equipment Services in South America at Sulzer, in addition to his role as managing director Brazil at the company. Alves has more than 25 years of experience in engineering solutions such as profit and loss management, operations, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and project management. He holds a BEng degree in metallurgy and an MBA from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
