Chesapeake Energy Corporation appointed Mark A. Edmunds to the board of directors. Edmunds will serve as a member of the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee and will stand for re-election at the 2019 annual meeting of shareholders. He is currently a senior partner and vice chairman at Deloitte and has served on its board of directors. Edmunds joined Deloitte in 1981 and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
