McDermott said that its Chinese joint venture, Qingdao McDermott Wuchuan Offshore Engineering, has won a contract to provide three modules for the Arctic LNG 2 project led by Novatek. The scope includes the fabrication of three pre-assembled unit complex process modules. McDermott did not disclose financial details, but it characterized the contract as large, meaning that it could range from $50 million to $250 million.
Fabrication is scheduled to begin at the end of 2019 and continue through mid-2022.
