Neil Chapman was appointed as the president of ExxonMobil Chemical and elected to serve as the vice president of ExxonMobil, replacing the retiring Stephen Pryor. Chapman joined the company in 1984, working for an Esso Chemical refinery in the United Kingdom. He advanced within the company in a series of engineering, operations, planning, and marketing roles in chemical affiliates before becoming president of ExxonMobil Global Services in 2007. He has been senior vice president of polymers at ExxonMobil Chemical since 2011. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Surrey in the UK.
