Ola Elvestuen

Ola Elvestuen was appointed as Norway’s Minister of Climate and Environment. Elvestuen is a Member of Parliament representing Oslo who was first elected to Parliament in 2013. He worked as a city councilor for Environment and Transportation in Oslo from 2011 to 2013, and he was first elected to the Oslo City Council in 2003. In Parliament, he has chaired the Committee on Energy and Environment and has been a member of the Norwegian parliamentary delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Elvestuen holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oslo.
