The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) announced the inaugural OTC Emerging Leaders program, which will recognize one young professional from each of the OTC sponsoring, endorsing, and supporting organizations at OTC 2020 to be held 4-7 May.
The OTC Emerging Leaders are individuals who are making key technology and/or leadership contributions to the offshore energy sector in their field of work, service to the industry, innovation, or safety performance.
Each society’s members are encouraged to make one or more nominations. A group of active OTC members will choose one member from each society for this inaugural class. The 2020 OTC Emerging Leaders will be honored on Wednesday, 6 May at the Young Professionals Networking event “Young Professionals Interactive Session: Building Your Brand,” which will take place from 1600-1800 in NRG Center, Level 2, Room 202.
Nominee Requirements:
Must be a young professional with 10 years or less of industry experience
Must currently work in the offshore energy sector
Must be a member in good standing with one of OTC’s sponsoring, endorsing, or supporting organizations
The nomination Process:
Identify one or more outstanding young professional(s) within your sponsoring, endorsing, or supporting organization
Complete the online nomination form
Request a professional headshot of the individual to include with the nomination form
Submit your nomination form online by 25 March
A group of active OTC members will choose the inaugural recipients. In succeeding years, the current recipients along with an advisor will select the next year’s group.
Program Benefits:
Recipients will receive a complimentary 4-day registration to OTC 2020
Recognition throughout OTC 2020
Recipients will be listed in the OTC Awards Display, a permanent awards display case in NRG Center
Recipients will participate in the selection process of the Class of 2021
