OPITO International, a developer of safety training standards, hired Richard Edwards as its Americas approvals manager. Edwards joins the company from Falck Safety Services, where he was a facility training manager. He entered the oil and gas industry in 2013 as a health, safety, and environment training instructor at Falck, eventually moving on to a number of senior positions within the company. He holds a BA in political science and criminal justice from Sam Houston State University.
