Solstad Offshore, a Norwedian offshore vessel owner, has been awarded a long-term contract with Global Offshore for the construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Clipper. The contract will begin in the first quarter of 2020 and last for 3 years. The deal also includes 5 years of options after the fixed term.
Global Offshore will use the CSV to support its cable lay operations within the renewable energy and oil and gas sectors.
