Stress Engineering Services (SES) acquired Laserstream, a company specializing in laser mapping of tubular assets. The acquisition will add high-resolution pipe inside-diameter scanning hardware and imaging software to SES’ technology portfolio for its service offering of nondestructive testing, asset condition-based maintenance and monitoring, predictive data analytics, and Internet of Things ecosystem to manage and assess baseline and degradation in tubulars.
SES will combine Laserstream’s equipment with its laboratories and service offerings in Houston; Waller, Texas; New Orleans; Cincinnati; Singapore; and Calgary, Alberta locations. Jason Waligura, co-founder of Laserstream, will join SES to integrate the technology across SES’ vertical market.
