Equinor has awarded Subsea 7 with an engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) contract for the Johan Sverdrup Phase 2 project in the Norwegian North Sea. The contract covers approximately 62 mi of rigid pipelines, including 25 mi of pipe-in-pipe flowlines, 17 mi of water injection, and 23 mi of gas injection pipelines. Project management and engineering will take place at Subsea 7’s offices in Stavanger, Norway.
