The DJI Spark is a miniature drone that can produce high-resolution imagery for facility inspection. The lightweight unit utilizes the Intel Movidus Myriad 2 vision processing unit (VPU), a processor used for accelerating machine vision tasks such as object detection, three-dimensional mapping, and contextual awareness through deep learning algorithms at high speed. This makes possible applications such as sense-and-avoid, optical tracking, and gesture recognition. The drone is equipped with an f/2.6 wide-angle lens with a 25mm equivalent focal length, and is dual-axis mechanical gimbal reduce shake and rolling shutter effect.
