BP has contracted Worley to provide hook-up and commissioning integration services for the Mad Dog 2 project and the Argos floating production unit (FPU). Under the terms of the deal, Worley will prepare for the arrival of the FPU in the US Gulf of Mexico and complete final systems commissioning in Texas, offshore hook-up at the Mad Dog field, and handover of the platform to BP’s Global Operations Organization. The second Mad Dog platform will be moored approximately 6 mi southwest of the existing Mad Dog platform.
