Hitesh Mohan

Managing Partner and Director of Energy CyberWorx Energy LLC

Hitesh Mohan is managing partner and director of energy at CyberWorx Energy LLC, with more than 35 years of experience in petroleum engineering, strategic management consulting, energy infrastructure, sustainability, and public policy. His expertise includes energy markets, infrastructure vulnerability and resiliency, logistics studies, gas storage analysis, carbon capture and storage (CCS), AI and cyber governance, and data analytics. He previously served as vice president and board member of INTEK Inc., where he played a key role in the company's establishment in 1998.

An SPE member and dedicated volunteer for more than 32 years, Mohan serves as chairperson of the SPE Asset Management Technical Section (AMTS), where he has led its strategic rebranding and technical refocusing while expanding student engagement through initiatives such as Energython: Molecule to Megabyte. Under his leadership, AMTS received the SPE Presidential Award for Outstanding Technical Section. He is also SPE technical director-elect for Data Science and Engineering Analytics on the SPE Board of Directors and has served on the Data Science and Engineering Analytics Advisory Board since 2025. His extensive SPE service includes leadership roles within the National Capital Section, including section chairperson, director, and program chair, as well as participation on ATCE committees and international and regional award committees. He also contributes to SPE's sustainability efforts through the Sustainable Development Technical Section Standing Committee (2024–2026).

Mohan was an SPE Distinguished Lecturer for 2019–2020 and has authored numerous SPE publications. He received the 2010 SPE Northeastern North America Regional Service Award and the 2024 SPE Eastern North America Regional Management Award.

He holds a BTech in mining machinery from the Indian School of Mines and an MS in petroleum engineering from the University of Kansas and is a member of the engineering honor society Tau Beta Pi.
