Mahendra Kunju
Research Manager LSU’s Petroleum Engineering Research, Training, and Testing (PERTT) LaboratoryMahendra Kunju, SPE, is the research manager at LSU’s Petroleum Engineering Research, Training, and Testing (PERTT) Laboratory. He has over 25 years of upstream oilfield experience across multiple countries in offshore drilling, well completions, production testing, multiphase flow metering, data acquisition, and subsea intervention, including managing the 2010 Macondo oil containment project as field services manager for a multidisciplinary crew on three vessels. His current research focuses on CO₂ injection and transportation via flow-loop experiments and system design, plus well-completion design, well control, and surface equipment design to support full-life cycle CO₂ operations integrity. He hold MS and PhD degrees in petroleum engineering from LSU.
