Mohamed Shafik Khaled

Mohamed Shafik Khaled, SPE, is an assistant professor at Colorado School of Mines and leads the VERTEX Research Group. He holds a PhD degree in petroleum engineering from Texas A&M University, an MS degree in petroleum engineering from Cairo University, and a BS degree in petroleum engineering from Suez University. Khaled’s research focuses on advanced drilling and geothermal systems. He previously worked at Halliburton and held academic roles at The University of Texas at Austin and Texas A&M University.
