The Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) Technical Section is proud to announce the launch of its new eMentoring Program forward-thinking initiative designed to connect young professionals (YPs) with seasoned experts across the CCUS industry. This virtual mentorship effort aims to fast-track knowledge transfer, foster professional development, and build a stronger, more interconnected CCUS community.

As the energy sector undergoes rapid transformation, the need to cultivate the next generation of CCUS leaders has never been more critical. The eMentoring Program provides an accessible platform for YPs to engage one-on-one with experienced mentors, allowing them to gain valuable insights.

The CCUS Technical Section is currently seeking mentors from across the globe—professionals with experience in capture technologies, storage techniques, regulatory frameworks, project execution, or related disciplines. Mentors will play a key role in guiding and inspiring YPs, shaping the industry’s future one conversation at a time.

Recruitment for mentors is ongoing, with program mentee recruitment in July. Matches to follow shortly after. Whether you’re looking to give back to the profession or seeking support as you grow within it, this initiative offers meaningful engagement tailored to today’s busy professionals.

Join us in bridging the knowledge gap and building the future of CCUS—one mentorship at a time.
