Habib Ouadi
Habib Ouadi, SPE, is an oilfield operations specialist for the Energy & Environmental Research Center. His focus areas include well drilling, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), and facilities and well completion. He earned an M.Eng. in petroleum engineering from the University of North Dakota and M.S. and B.S. degrees from the University of Boumerdes, Algeria. Ouadi's expertise spans petroleum industry operations and support, including well stimulation, energy storage in salt caverns, and CO2 EOR and storage. He strives to enhance coordination between the energy industry and environmental efforts through research, practice, and advanced technology understanding. Ouadi prepares technical reports, conference papers, journal articles, and outreach materials; develops proposals; and communicates results to clients, stakeholders, the public, and the scientific community. In addition to the SPE, he is a member of the International Association of Drilling Contractors and has authored numerous research publications.
