Hassan Khalid

Hassan Khalid is the senior strategy consultant for the gas-compression segment at Caterpillar Oil, Gas, and Marine Division. His primary responsibility is to define product strategy for engines used in gas-compression applications. He specializes in reciprocating-engine development and has over 15 years of product development, project management, and leadership experience. Khalid has extensive knowledge of diesel, dual fuel, and gas engines, and he has successfully led several projects at Caterpillar that resulted in high-performance and lower-emission engines. He holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University and lives in Houston.
